We believe: 

• In God, who is one, revealed in three distinct ways. 

• In Jesus Christ, through whom we have the mystery of salvation. 

• In the Holy Spirit, who is constantly in our midst.

• The Bible is the inspired Word of God

• Human beings are created in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1).

• The UMC recognizes two sacraments, Baptism and Communion. We continue to participate in two sacraments today because Jesus commanded them and participated in them himself. 

• Baptism - the outward act of using water as a symbol for God's claim on our lives. Through Baptism, we are initiated into Christ's holy church. 

• Communion - we celebrate at Christ's table, where Christ, through the Holy Spirit, is present. In our service, we confess our sins, share words of pardon, and offering God praise and thanksgiving. We remember Christ's work on earth, but we are also empowered to continue to be God's hands and feet on earth.
